Kochi folklore museum is located within the city itself. It is at the fag end of the thevara road (have to take a left after ship yard - while coming from jose junction on the M.G road), and proceed straight another 5 km straight. It is worth seeing. Mangala Vanam

A bird sanctuary at the middle of the city. I saw it by accident. Not many people in the city are aware of it. It is just behind the High court of Kerala.
